Solana is located on the hillside a 20 minute walk (or 5 minute taxi ride) to La Ropa beach. We are in the same neighborhood as The Pacifica Grand Hotel, Cerro del Vigia and the luxury housing development, Punta Garrobo. The center of Zihuatanejo is across the bay, only a 10 minute taxi ride away. At night we have a perfect view of the sparkling city lights.
Taxis are readily available and inexpensive although many of our guests prefer to walk down the hill to spend the day at La Ropa beach. A mini bus also runs into the town of Zihuatanejo if guests prefer to travel like a local. Solana is the best of both worlds; close enough to town for convenient access to restaurants & shops but far enough away to enjoy the serenity of our tropical Mexican paradise.
